David,

I just want to thank you for your wonderful ASL lessons that you have provided! My sister studies ASL and I am excited to surprise her with a conversation the next time we are in the same city. The small amount that I have already retained is also invaluable in my industry, where we typically resort to a notepad – it is so much better to be fully involved when conversating with a client! I am looking forward to learning the rest of the video lessons and moving into your book, I really hope to see more videos in the future! Your lessons are the best ones on YouTube imo, and I always recommend them to anyone interested in learning.

Keep up the great work!

Wow. This is a wonderful, wonderful tool and I deeply appreciate this sharing and would even be willing to buy DVDs of this. I teach high school ASL and needed a more first language base for my learners who have IEPs or have specific learning difficulties. This is absolutely perfect for them. Now the entire class is on board and I have this extra learning that I transfer to flash drive and have my special learning students review each lesson several times. It’s perfect…no child is left behind now.
Thanks
Do you have these in a package deal that I can buy? It’s a bit of a procedure to make them accessible in a classroom that does not have internet connection. 🙂 Thanks again.

I am wanting to use your videos to teach our 7th grader ASL. They were recommended by friends form PCC. He knows the Lord has called him to be a missionary. He has always wanted to learn to sign. This may be where God is leading. We will see. Any tips of how to use this best for a school course. I was thinking that I would have him do each lesson several times to master the concepts. Thank you for your help.

I think you will want to look for supplemental material to use it for a school course. There just aren’t enough lessons here to make it through a whole year. Maybe a semester.

But, I do hope that these lessons can be a help in encouraging him in the ministry. I’m a PCC grad and started learning sign language there as a freshman.

Thank you! I have found a few other videos too but they seemed for advanced. So I figured I could start here then add those after.

David,

I am so thankful that you have taken the time to put these together. I’ve been wanting to go to school for sign language interpretation, but school doesn’t fit into my life right now. It’s been great to learn in the meantime! My 18 month old also enjoys watching these with me and has learned a few things with me which is fun to watch.
Thank you so much!

Tina
